Large commercial project – refurbishment, alterations and extensions to the former Thurso Town Hall. Steel frames were inserted within the existing stone building to create museum, audio visual centre, exhibition space, restaurant facilities, retail space and visitor centre.
Externally the building was extended with the existing roof and stonework restored. Internally the building was completely refurbished. This was an extremely complex technical project which involved the organisation and interaction of 18 separate trades.
The building fit out was completed to the very highest standards and quality. Complete renewal of all building services with the installation of a ground source heat pump.
